There are several reasons you might need a tree survey including mortgage applications and planning applications for building work.
We provide everything from individual tree reports and assessments, to help preserve the life of your tree and prevent future costs in storm-damaged tree removal, to large-scale plans for development sites detailing how trees should be protected. We work in accordance with the British standard BS 5837: 2012, which sets out guidelines to prevent the unnecessary removal or damage of trees during construction work.
Before carrying out any work to your tree we help you establish if it is protected by a TPO. If this is the case it is a legal requirement to apply to your local authority for permission to alter the tree and we are able to complete that paperwork for you. You will also need to seek special permission if your property is in a conservation area.
